These terms apply to all purchases made on kadnse.com. By placing an order, you agree to them. Please read them together with our Shipping policy, Refund policy and Privacy policy.

Who we are
kadnse.com is operated by Gaspar & Barata, Lda (trading as Kadnse), Avenida da República 1622, 4º Sala 12, 4430-193 Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal, NIPC / VAT PT517329751, hello@kadnse.com.

Our products
Our products are made by hand in small and mindful batches. Slight variations in colour, texture, finish and scent intensity are a natural part of this process and are not defects. We make every effort to show our products accurately, but colours may appear differently depending on your screen.

Safe use
Candles, wax melts, reed diffusers and room sprays must be used according to the instructions on the packaging and product page. Never leave a burning candle unattended, keep products away from children, pets and flammable materials, and avoid contact with skin and eyes. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for damage resulting from use that does not follow these instructions.

Prices and payment
All prices are shown in euros and include VAT. Shipping costs are shown at checkout before you complete your order. Payment is taken when you place your order, through the payment methods available at checkout.

Orders
After placing an order, you will receive an email acknowledging it. The contract is concluded when we confirm that your order has been dispatched. We may cancel an order, with a full refund, if a product is unavailable, if there is an obvious error in the price or description, or if we have reasonable grounds to suspect fraud. Our online store is intended for consumers; for wholesale, corporate or resale orders, please contact us at hello@kadnse.com.

Delivery
We currently ship within the European Union. Delivery areas, times and costs are described in our Shipping policy. Risk in the products passes to you when you, or someone you have indicated, receive them.

Right of withdrawal and returns
If you are a consumer, you may withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving it, under the conditions described in our Refund policy.

Legal guarantee
All products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity of three years from delivery, under Portuguese law. If a product is not in conformity, please contact us at hello@kadnse.com and we will offer a repair, replacement or refund in line with the law.

Intellectual property
All content on kadnse.com, including the Kadnse name and logo, product names, texts, photographs and design, belongs to Gaspar & Barata, Lda or is used with permission. It may not be copied, reproduced or used without our prior written consent.

Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability where this is not permitted by law, including your rights as a consumer. Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect losses or for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.

Complaints and disputes
If you have a concern, please write to us first at hello@kadnse.com. We will always try to find a solution. In the event of a consumer dispute, you may also turn to CICAP – Centro de Informação de Consumo e Arbitragem do Porto (www.cicap.pt). More information is available at www.consumidor.gov.pt.

Governing law
These terms are governed by Portuguese law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.

Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one published on our site when you placed it.
