How to Use a Wax Melt

A wax melt requires no flame. No wick. No timing. You place it, warm it, and the fragrance fills the room on its own terms. It is one of the most forgiving ways to scent a space — and one of the most underestimated.

What you need

A wax melt burner — either electric or one that uses a tea light underneath. Electric burners offer more control and are safer for continuous use. A tea light burner creates a slightly warmer experience and a gentle ambient glow.

How much to use

For most rooms, one 68g Kadnse wax melt is enough for several sessions. Break off a portion — about a quarter — and place it in the dish of the burner. You do not need to use the entire melt at once. Save the rest for another time.

How long does it last

Each portion will fragrance your room for four to eight hours depending on the burner and the size of the space. When the scent begins to fade, the wax can be discarded and replaced. The wax itself does not evaporate — only the fragrance molecules do.

When to use a wax melt instead of a candle

In rooms where you cannot use an open flame — a child's bedroom, an office, a space with pets. When you want continuous fragrance without supervision. When you want to change scents frequently without committing to a full candle.

A wax melt is fragrance without ceremony. It asks very little and gives quite a lot.
